Black & white photograph & illustration. From the reverse: "1609-Hudson--Fulton-1807. 'Manhattan Series' sixteen Hudson-Fulton Post Cards...Hudson Memorial Bridge. To be erected over the Harlem [river] at Spuyten Duyvil (upper New York) as a permanent memorial to Henry Hudson. Planned by Professor William H. Burr, Columbia University, Whitney Warren, architect. It will be double-decked for foot & railway traffic. The center span, 725 feet, will be the longest masonry arch in the world. Hudson Memorial Monument. Designed by Karl Bitter. Cost about $100,000, raised by popular subscription. Dedicated during the Hudson-Fulton Celebration, September 25-October 9, 1906."
